Refund Policy

DinePocket operates on a prepaid monthly or annual subscription basis. Access to premium features is granted immediately upon successful payment. By completing a payment, you acknowledge that digital services are delivered instantly and you have received value from the moment of activation.

If you choose to cancel your subscription before the end of a billing period, you may be eligible for a pro-rata refund for genuinely unused days only, calculated as follows:

• Refund Amount = (Daily Rate) × (Number of Unused Days Remaining)
• Daily Rate = Total Amount Paid ÷ Total Days in Billing Period
• Minimum unused period eligible for refund: 7 days or more remaining

Example: If you paid ₹999 for a 30-day plan and cancel after 15 days, you are eligible for a refund of approximately ₹499.50 (15 unused days), minus any applicable transaction fees.

No refund will be issued under the following circumstances:

• You have used the platform for more than 23 days in a 30-day billing cycle
• Refund request is made after the subscription period has expired
• Account was suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service
• Dissatisfaction with features that were clearly described on the pricing/features page before purchase
• Disruption caused by scheduled or emergency maintenance (see Maintenance Policy)
• Failure to use the platform or forgetting to cancel — non-usage is not grounds for refund
• Disputes arising from third-party payment gateway issues (Razorpay, Stripe, etc.)
• Refund requests made via chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us

All payment gateway transaction fees (typically 2–3% charged by Razorpay, Stripe, or other processors) are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances. Refunds, where applicable, will be issued for the net amount received by DinePocket after deducting such fees.

Approved refunds will be processed within 7 working days from the date of approval. The refund will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

• Working days exclude Sundays and Indian public holidays
• Bank processing time after our initiation: additional 3–5 business days depending on your bank
• DinePocket is not liable for delays caused by your bank or payment provider

DinePocket reserves the right to perform scheduled or emergency maintenance at any time, for any duration, and any number of times without prior notice. Downtime or temporary unavailability of the platform due to maintenance does not qualify for any refund, credit, or compensation of any kind. By subscribing, you explicitly accept this condition.

• Registered email address
• Payment receipt or transaction ID
• Date of subscription and reason for cancellation

We will review and respond within 3 working days of receiving your request.

Any attempt to fraudulently claim a refund, file unauthorized chargebacks, or misuse the refund process will result in immediate account termination with no refund. DinePocket reserves the right to pursue legal remedies in such cases.

DinePocket reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically.

This Refund Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Ludhiana, Punjab, India.
